Job Description

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations. Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS. Assists in a variety of duties to include sampling, observations, training and inspections. Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analysis skills
• Exhibit sound judgment and professionalism in all situations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively

Pay

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey area is $77,500.00 - $144,500.00.
