Specialist, Driver Payroll

About the role

The Driver Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment of drivers. They are responsible for compiling and recording various details related to driver cases, stops, miles, and time spent driving. Additionally, they compute pay due to drivers, including vacation eligibility, holiday pay, and other relevant components. Before submitting driver pay for processing, they must ensure all calculations are correct and submit them for approval.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and records driver case, stops, miles as well as time spent driving.
• Computes pay due to drivers, vacation eligibility, holiday pay, etc.
• SUBMIT driver pay for approval prior to processing.
• Works with supervisors to correct driver pay before submission.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Maintain mathematical skills.
• Show attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Display strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have 2 or more years of experience in a payroll role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

• Shift: 5PM-1:30AM, with a shift differential of .40 cents.
