About the role
The posts are based at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway and offer an excellent opportunity for experienced and self-motivated pharmacists to help continue exciting work in developing a clinical and patient-focused pharmacy service.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical pharmacy service to several wards.
- Engage in professional development opportunities within a team of pharmacists and technicians.
- Provide a clinical pharmacy service to the local hospice and remotely to other hospitals.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Primary Care Pharmacy to enhance safe patient transition.
- Support the implementation of innovative services such as the 'Front Door Service' and Hospital at Home.
- Work with Omnicell medicines vending machines and a capital project for a dispensary refit.
