Responsibilities
- Supports the Executive Leadership and management teams
- Gathers data, prepares spreadsheets, prepares correspondence, reports and presentations
- Handles information requests, plans conferences and meetings, makes travel arrangements
- Maintains calendars and schedules
- May serve as back up for other administrative team members as needed
- Maintains department policies and manuals as needed
- Maintains department files
- Supports project management functions for each program
- Maintains confidential files, records and overall filing system
- Enters/retrieves data on records manually or electronically
- Inventories and orders office supplies, equipment, routine maintenance, and services
- Plans, prioritizes and schedules meetings and appointments for leaders
- Arranges and coordinates travel and reimbursement
- Prepares presentation materials for use by others
- Composes and/or prepares correspondence, memoranda, promotional materials, forms, newsletters, manuals, and reports
- Greets and directs guests and patients
- Provides information to patients, guests, vendors, service partners, and employees
- Serves as point of contact for department
- Affords assistance with special projects as directed
Requirements
- Associates or 2 years' work related experience related experience
- Bachelors or 4 years' work related experience related experience
- Prior to or concurrent with employment, must have experience in an administrative support role
- Experience in a research, medical, biomedical, or pharmaceutical business environment supporting a Director or higher level personnel
