Specialist Accounts Payable

Job Description

We are an entrepreneurial family business and groupage specialist that sends fully loaded trucks on the road through our strong partner network to Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. We are creative in finding solutions, with a focus on quality results due to our knowledge, experience, and commitment, respecting both internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming invoices and forward them to the correct department.
• Post service invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centers.
• Process expense reports and book them correctly.
• Follow up on outstanding supplier accounts.
• Assist with posting bank statements.
• Assist with preparing payment runs.
• Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks.

Competencies & Skills

• Hold a degree in accounting.
• Have experience in a similar role.
• Be strong with numbers, analytical, accurate, and results-oriented.
• Show punctuality and the ability to prioritize.
• Handle deadlines effectively.
• Have strong communication skills, ensuring smooth contact with clients and suppliers.
• Have a very good knowledge of Dutch and French; knowledge of English is a plus.
