About the role

Carolus Online Academy (COA), a Stride K12 partner school, provides an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students through school and community/family partnerships, a rigorous curriculum, and a data‑driven, student‑centered instructional model. Student success is measured by valid and reliable assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and continued institutional growth. This is a hybrid position requiring time in the Columbia office. Candidates must reside in South Carolina and hold South Carolina Department of Education Academic Administrator and Special Education Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities
• Researches and implements non‑K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards as needed
• Manages teaching and administrative staff, including Master and Lead Teachers and programs
• Helps articulate the school’s mission and vision to ensure stakeholders have a common understanding and work cooperatively toward desired results
