Special Processes Operator - AWW Shift (Onsite)

About the Role

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) in Springdale, AR is seeking a Special Processes Operator – Plasma for AWW (Alternate Work Week) shift operations (Friday - Sunday, 6AM to 6:30PM). Training may occur on 1st shift (M-F, 6:30AM to 3PM). The AWW shift earns an 8% shift premium after the training period. Overtime opportunities may be available following training.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine requirements.
• Prepare parts for plasma coating.
• Set up and operate grit blaster and plasma equipment.
• Apply plasma coating according to specifications outlined in work instructions.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Technical aptitude and a desire to learn new skills are essential. Ability to read and interpret work instructions is required. On-site training is provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within the aerospace industry.
• Experience with specialized coating application.
• CNC equipment operation.
