Special Procedures Technologist, Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem, Day Shift

About the role

Centered in the heart of Montebello, Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello has a 70-year history of providing quality healthcare to the community. Responsibilities

• Performs, assists, and completes Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
• Performs active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of complicated and sophisticated equipment.
• Operates equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions, as ordered by physicians.
• Positions and instructs patients for examinations and performs specialized studies.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredBachelor's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): PreferredExperience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: PreferredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredHospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
