Special Procedures Technologist (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Perform an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the radiology procedure.
• Prepare the room and the patient for the procedure.
• Record the images.
• Utilize radiology equipment accurately.
• Evaluate the image quality.
• Perform image management.
• Provide education and communicate with the patient, family, and other healthcare workers.
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Deal with pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle constantly changing situations.
• Deal with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Requirements

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current State of Montana License for Radiologic Technology required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
