Special Procedures Technologist

13-week contract assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Monday through Friday, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM). Typically includes 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks.

About the role

As a Special Procedures Technologist within our Interventional Radiology Lab at a Magnet-designated, academic Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, you will be an integral part of a high-acuity team specializing in venous, arterial, and non-endovascular procedures.

The IR team includes registered nurses, interventional radiologists, neuro-interventionalists, advanced practice providers, and special procedure technologists. The culture is collaborative, with interventionalist physicians who have been on staff for over 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, neuro coiling, stroke thrombectomy, embolization of bleeds, Y-90 for liver cancer, ablations, and line placements for chemotherapy and hemodialysis
• Participate in on-call requirements, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• ARRT certification and state license
• Neuro experience required
• Cath Lab experience
