Special Procedures Technician
Shift Information: 4 weekdays x 9 hour shifts plus call every other weekend.
About the role
Performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the Angiographic equipment used to perform special procedures, develops and organizes films. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff. Supports main Radiology Department when workload warrants. Position requires call.
Requirements
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
- Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital serving the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County.
