About the Role

Performs complex radiologic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, acting as an assistant during invasive radiological interventions. Ensures patient safety, image quality, and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conducts specialized imaging procedures, prepares and positions patients, administers contrast agents, and selects appropriate imaging techniques.
• Enters and monitors patient data, performs equipment quality assurance, and assists with accreditation processes.
• Reports accidents, equipment malfunctions, and ensures adherence to safety and organizational standards.
• Provides emergency call coverage, promotes professional growth, and mentors less experienced staff.
• Creates compassionate, personalized patient experiences aligned with service standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current license or temporary license from the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) and certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients safely.
