About the role

Neuro IR/Cath Lab Tech responsible for performing specialized radiologic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, and supporting physicians during invasive radiological interventions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, administering contrast, and positioning patients.
• Ensuring technical quality of images and selecting appropriate imaging techniques.
• Monitoring and entering patient data accurately.
• Performing quality assurance on radiology equipment and assisting with accreditation processes.
• Reporting accidents, equipment malfunctions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Providing emergency call coverage within the department.
• Adhering to safety standards, policies, and budgetary guidelines.
• Supporting professional growth through continuing education and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Creating compassionate, personalized patient experiences that align with service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R).
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients with team support.
