About the role
The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is seeking a highly skilled Field Investigator to join our team. This role involves conducting detailed investigations, gathering evidence, and providing expert testimony in court.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into criminal activities
- Interview witnesses and suspects to gather evidence
- Prepare reports and present findings in court
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of investigative experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Background check required
Skills
- Knowledge of legal procedures and court systems
- Experience with digital forensics tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
