About the role

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is seeking a highly skilled Field Investigator to join their team. This role involves conducting detailed investigations, gathering evidence, and providing expert testimony in court.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into criminal activities
• Collect and preserve evidence from crime scenes
• Prepare reports and present findings to prosecutors
• Testify in court as an expert witness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of investigative experience
• Knowledge of legal procedures and court systems
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Background check required

Skills

• Proficient in forensic techniques and evidence collection
• Experience with digital forensics tools
• Knowledge of computer forensics
