Special Events Coordinator - On-Call (Caesars Palace LV)
On-Call position assisting with various property and marketing functions in the Las Vegas region, including general office duties. Coordinators serve as customer service representatives, ensuring guests have a great experience during invitational events.
Responsibilities
- Create an atmosphere of fun and excitement for guests.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, maintain positive working relationships, and remain composed and professional in all situations.
- Assist the Special Events team with the execution of invitational events and promotions.
- Display a professional demeanor and willingness to assist guests.
- Constantly seek ways to improve friendly and helpful service and reduce guests’ waiting time to positively impact department’s guest service ratings.
- Ensure integrity and confidentiality of all guests’ data.
- Comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Deliver and pick up items to and from other properties when necessary.
- Comply with Responsible Gaming guidelines outlined by Caesars Entertainment and complete annual refresher training.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience with the proven ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers.
- Must be able to work any day of the week, on any shift, including long hours and holidays when necessary.
- Ability to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of events and promotions.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and work respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills with software systems including IBM, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Adobe.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to obtain a Gaming Sheriff’s Card.
- Must comply with company’s appearance standards.
- Must be able to move in and around the Casino/Hotel areas and other special event promotion locations the entire shift.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopy machines, fax machines, ten-key, printers, and video poker/slot machines.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- May work outdoors.
