Maintenance/Repair
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment in his discipline on a scheduled basis.
- Trouble Shoot and diagnose equipment for identification of deficiencies in operation.
- Repair equipment associated with these areas of discipline.
- Prepare documentation related to the systematic preventative maintenance or repair of equipment in this area of discipline on the date of work performed.
- Turn in all relevant documentation on the date the work is performed for completion in our Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Absorb and repair equipment associated with these areas of discipline.
- Assist in the maintenance of critical spares and repair parts for equipment in these disciplines.
- Conduct periodic assessments/inventories of critical spare and general spare parts for systems.
- Prepare proper purchase requisitions for acquiring these spares and repair parts in a timely fashion to ensure continuous repair efforts.
- Ensure that all documentation related to return of damaged/defective parts is completed in a timely fashion to ensure proper credits are received.
- Receive all materials related to purchases within 3 days of delivery and turn in all documentation at that time to ensure purchases are paid in a timely fashion.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Assist with emergency generator monthly test runs on a rotating basis.
- Assist with Weekend coverage duties and responsibilities on a rotating basis.
- Assist with repairs on general equipment to include but not limited to, bed repair, light plumbing, light electrical, fire alarm, etc.

Qualifications
- Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s): GADL - Georgia Driver's License or VSDL - Valid State Driver's License.
- Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years practical experience working on stated equipment above, in a health care environment.
- Required Minimum Skills: Mechanical skills in pump maintenance and repair, electronics/electrical trouble shooting and repair, computer literate in use of Excel, Word and general business software. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and mechanical drawings and read and understand technical manuals. Trained in trouble shooting, maintaining and repairing Nurse Calls systems and Pneumatic Tube systems. Must have working knowledge of use of power tools, hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to these disciplines. Must be computer literate.
