Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education License (or eligibility)
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Able to support students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Provide specialized instruction in both special education and general education settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Assist in student evaluations and eligibility processes
- Monitor student progress and prepare required documentation and reports
- Support the implementation of behavior intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Supervise paraprofessionals and support staff as needed
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (EBD), and Cognitive Disabilities (CD).
Traveler Compensation
Candidates residing 50+ miles from the assignment are eligible for $25/hour taxable pay plus $1,330/week in stipends.
