Special Education Teacher- SLC (Leave Replacement)
The position is a leave replacement from September 9, 2026, through January 29, 2027.

Responsibilities
- Teach SLC curriculum aligned with district standards and objectives.
- Plan and implement instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and report student performance data.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate.
- At least two years of successful teaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
Skills
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
