Location: Litchfield Park, AZ | Local Pay: $50/hour (Approx. $2,000/week) | Schedule: 40 hours/week | Contract Length: 33 weeks | Start Date: August 10, 2026 | Setting: Self-Contained SPED Classroom (STRIDE Program) | Interview: Virtual with school-site Principal | Work Setting: Onsite

Travel Package Available: Approx. $2,060/week package

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain required educational documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, program planning, and student evaluations.
  • Provide consultation and instructional support to classroom staff as needed.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
  • Current health documentation, TB screening, and CPR certification if required by state or district guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum one year of teaching experience.
  • Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement.
  • Experience working in special education settings.
