About the role

This is a One Year Only special education classroom teacher position for the upper elementary self-contained classroom (Resource 2). Students receive functional academics, adaptive, and behavioral instruction in this setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for multiple ability levels
• Structure classroom instruction for whole‑group and small‑group delivery
• Manage para‑educators
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students receive services
• Take initiative and communicate needs as they arise

Qualifications

• Right Response trained (training will be provided by the district)
