About the role
The primary responsibility is to provide instruction in a variety of subjects to students with special educational needs within a K-12 setting. This includes planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to meet the individual learning needs of each student.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans based on district curriculum standards and individual student needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and performance.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in special education.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
