About the role
The Special Education Teacher will deliver structured, evidence-based instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an elementary classroom setting. The role involves creating a safe, predictable, and supportive learning environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and implementing individualized programming.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a valid California Mild/Moderate Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential, added Authorization Autism Spectrum Disorder (AAAS) or California Moderate/Severe Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential
- Special Education instruction experience required
- Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum preferred
- Experience with IEP documents and the IEP process
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree and relevant credentials
- Experience: Special Education instruction experience required, experience with ASD preferred

Benefits
