About the role

The Special Education Teacher will deliver structured, evidence-based instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an elementary classroom setting. The role involves creating a safe, predictable, and supportive learning environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and implementing individualized programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a valid California Mild/Moderate Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential, added Authorization Autism Spectrum Disorder (AAAS) or California Moderate/Severe Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential
• Special Education instruction experience required
• Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum preferred
• Experience with IEP documents and the IEP process
• Strong classroom management skills
• Strong communication skills

Benefits

We Offer Compensation of $70,000 - $75,000 per year. A multi-disciplinary supportive environment - great for those new to the field!
