Special Education Teacher EE

Location: Bluff Ridge Elementary – part-time, 4 hours daily.

About the role

Special Education Teacher in the Essential Elements Unit, serving K–12 students with intellectual disabilities and similar program needs. This self-contained classroom position provides special education services according to each student’s IEP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate individualized instruction for students with complex educational, social, behavioral, self-help, and/or medical needs.
• Collaborate on program planning with administrators, regular education teachers, parents, and outside agencies.
• Participate in district and departmental meetings and in-service training.

Requirements

• Utah Special Education (K-12+) license required.
• Severe endorsement preferred; Mild/Moderate endorsement considered.
