About the role
Provide consistent instruction and classroom leadership to support student learning and behavioral progress. Your work ensures continuity, safety, and alignment with IEP goals across in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Pennsylvania public school, private academic, or temporary approval teaching certificate
- At least three months of experience supporting students with learning or behavioral needs
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured instruction aligned to IEP goals and lesson plans
- Manage classroom behavior using consistent, proactive strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student services
- Document student progress, behavior data, and instructional outcomes
- Provide guidance and supervision to classroom support staff
