Summary
The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year: West Bountiful Elementary School Special Education Teacher (ASC-5-6) Severe Endorsement preferred, Mild Moderate considered Self-contained Classroom 8 hrs daily.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide special education services according to student's IEP for classrooms serving K-12 students with intellectual disabilities and those with similar program needs.
- Collaborative program planning, delivery and evaluation of students with complex educational, social, behavioral, self-help and/or medical needs.
- Participation in district and departmental meetings.
- Inservice training.
- Work with administrators, regular education teachers, parents, other agencies which may serve the same students.
LICENSE REQUIRED
- Special Education (K-12+)
- Endorsement Preferred
- Severe Disabilities
