Position: ESL Teacher Location: Arlington Heights, IL Start Date: ASAP End Date: End of the 2026-2027 School Year (Approx. May 2027) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM (32.5 hours/week) Requirements Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) ESL Endorsement (K-8) Experience working with students with disabilities (Required) LBS1 Preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to travel between district locations as needed Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group ESL instruction Support English language development and access to grade-level curriculum Collaborate with special education teams and support multilingual learners with disabilities Participate in IEP meetings and student assessments Support ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS testing Partner with families and school teams to ensure student success Submittal Requirements PEL with ESL Endorsement (K-8) If you're passionate about helping multilingual students with disabilities thrive academically and socially, we'd love to hear from you! The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
