About the role

Mast Landing School is seeking a full-time special education teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades 3-5.

Responsibilities

• Delivering targeted academic instruction
• Social-emotional support to students
• Ensuring access to the general education curriculum
• Collaborating with general education staff
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Managing a student caseload by monitoring progress, conducting observations, and maintaining ongoing communication with families

Requirements

• Must hold a valid 282 Certification from the ME Dept. of Education
