About the role
This position is for a licensed professional who ensures equitable access to academic instruction and supports students with unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements evidence-based services and/or specially designed instruction to meet student needs
- Collaborates with the education team to strengthen connections between home, school, and community
- Enhances student outcomes and prepares them for postsecondary and workforce success
- Supports growth and development to close achievement gaps
- Through reflection, advocacy, and leadership, improves student outcomes and professional development
- Adapts services for students with diverse needs and interests
- Safeguards students at all times
- Establishes and communicates high expectations for students
- Engages students in learning activities
- Provides services aligned with state and federal laws, local policies, and student needs
- Responds to safety and crisis situations
- Supervises volunteers and paraprofessionals
- Creates a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
- Uses technology to support professional responsibilities, instruction, and student learning
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Special Services Provider License from the Colorado Department of Education and has experience in Special Education.

$52,020.00 - $83,163.00 based on education and experience at 100% FTE
Schedule
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day
