About the Role
PACT Charter School has an opening for the 2026-2027 school year for a Secondary Special Education Paraprofessional to assist teachers with individual student needs served by special education within the general education setting. The hours will roughly be 7:45-3:15 on student contact days. Hours may vary depending on before and after school duties.
Requirements
- Two years of higher education or Associates (or higher) degree are preferred
- Completion of the Paraprofessional Exam
Pay
Starting Step/Lane pay range is $18.00 to $36.40 depending upon qualifications.

Location and Community
PACT is located in Ramsey, Minnesota, a family-friendly and growing community in Anoka County with a population of around 25,000, approximately 25 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Ramsey is bordered by the scenic Mississippi and Rum Rivers and offers many parks, an extensive trail system, and a rural character with wetlands and wildlife.
The PACT Elementary campus is located at 7250 East Ramsey Parkway, adjacent to The Draw, a community park featuring an amphitheater, water feature, farmer's market, concerts, and other events. The PACT Secondary campus is located at 7729 161st Ave NW between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property.
U.S. Highways 10/169 and State Highway 47 are main routes, and the Northstar Commuter Rail provides access to downtown Minneapolis.
