Special Education Paraprofessional

San Juan School District – Paraprofessional position starting August 17, 2026.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 semester hours of college credit.
• The Paraprofessional Praxis Exam is available for interested candidates who do not meet these qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Special Education teacher and Principal with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Assist students with assignments.

Pay

$18.42 per hour (Classified Salary Schedule Range 11).

Schedule

3.25 hours per day, each school day.
