About the role
Supports students with autism spectrum disorder in a special education setting.
Responsibilities
- Assists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provides direct instruction to students
- Monitors student behavior and progress
- Collaborates with teachers and other staff members
- Participates in team meetings and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
- Current certification as a special education paraprofessional
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its educational needs
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using technology tools for special education
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
