Special Education Paraprofessional - 6.5 hours/day TEMPORARY until 12/22/26 (Transition)
Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students. Candidate will be required to obtain certification as a district driver (training provided).
Requirements
In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following:
- a Bachelor's Degree
- an Associates Degree
- 60+ hours of post-secondary education
- a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam
Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.)
Schedule
- 6.5 hours per day, Monday - Friday (student contact days)
- Temporary position until 12/22/26
- Not benefit eligible
Pay
$21.00/hour
Start Date: 8/10/26
