Special Education Paraprofessional - 4.0 hours/day TEMPORARY until Jan. 1, 2027(Transition)

About the role
Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students. Candidate will be required to obtain certification as a district driver (training provided).
Requirements
To work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following:
- a Bachelor's Degree
- an Associate's Degree
- 60+ hours of post-secondary education
- a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam
Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications (e.g., transcripts or ParaPro Exam report).
Schedule
- 4.0 hours per day, Monday - Friday (student contact days)
- Temporary until January 1, 2027
- Start Date: 8/17/26
Pay
$21.00/hour
