Special Education Nurse

About the role

The Goddard Special Education Cooperative is seeking a Nurse for the 2026–2027 school year to be based at Discovery Intermediate School. The nurse will provide care for assigned students, develop and implement student health care plans, maintain medical records, and provide required reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for assigned students
• Develop and implement student health care plans
• Maintain medical records
• Provide required reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
