Special Education Nurse

Possess and maintain certification as a registered nurse in Georgia.

• Current valid state license as a Registered Nurse
• A bachelor's degree
• Experience in child health care or school nursing

General computer proficiency required.

Must have the ability to develop positive relations with students, staff, other agencies, and parents.

Must have superb listening skills.

Physical demands:

• Must be able to stand and walk the majority of the day
• Lift and carry twenty (20) to thirty (30) pounds frequently, and up to one hundred (100) pounds occasionally
• Push or pull same amounts frequently
• Frequent bending, stooping, and crawling
