Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports to Lead Special Education Supervisor and provides support to assigned schools.
  • Affords assistance with documentation review for compliance (IEPs, timelines) under SE Supervisor direction.
  • Drafts responses and gathers materials for state complaints or monitoring reviews.
  • Captures and organizes data for SE Supervisor review and decision-making.
  • Serves as operational support to reduce backflow and administrative burden.
  • Coordinates logistics for meetings, corrective action plans, and follow-up documentation.
  • Maintains compliance trackers and flags potential risks to SE Supervisor.
  • Supports implementation of established systems and processes in schools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in special education and/or educational administration.
  • 2-4 years in Special Education, Compliance, or school-based Special Education role.
