Responsibilities
- Monitor systems to ensure legal compliance for all mandated special services and IEPs, and 504 plans.
- Create Special Education teachers' caseload for the school year.
- Ensure Special Education teachers secure and upload Teacher Reports, Related Service Provider Reports, conduct Vocational Assessments, and draft IEPs in SESIS at least 10 days prior to the IEP meeting.
- Maintain Special Services Grading Policy adherence and ensure regular progress monitoring of IEP goals.
- Timely collection and distribution of Quarterly Progress reports.
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders on behalf of the Specialized Services Department.
- Ensure files are up to date, organized, and uphold compliance standards.
- Prepare meeting agendas, calendar invites, and take minutes for meetings led by the Director of Specialized Services.
- Remain abreast of all important dates pertaining to Inclusion and Special Services.
- Collaborate with the Director of Specialized Services to plan events.
- Meet established deadlines consistently.
- Support the Family and Community Partnership team by attending and engaging in family nights, report card nights, and occasional work events.
- Respond to correspondence from families, school leaders, culture teams, and teachers within 24 business hours.
- Model clear expectations and build strong relationships with staff, students, and families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related, relevant experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with Special Education populations at the K-12 level
- At least 1 year of experience providing administrative support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Solutions-oriented, determined, skilled leader with a strong track record of results
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

Benefits & Compensation
Salary range: $50,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience and education.
