Special Assets Manager

The Special Assets Manager will manage, resolve, and recover the Bank's classified, delinquent, and non-performing assets under the direction of the Chief Lending Officer. This role involves developing and executing strategies to minimize loss, protect collateral, and ensure timely resolution of problem credits. Additionally, the manager will oversee loan documentation practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, resolve, and recover classified, delinquent, and non-performing assets
• Develop and execute strategies to minimize loss and protect collateral
• Ensure timely resolution of problem credits
• Oversee the integrity and compliance of loan documentation practices
• Maintain accurate, complete, and regulatory-compliant lending records
• Collaborate with senior management, legal counsel, and lending teams
• Apply strong credit judgment and sound decision-making in asset resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in special assets, loan workouts, or credit risk management
• Experience managing classified assets, non-accrual loans, and OREO preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial, consumer, and real estate lending
• Experience with loan restructuring, collections, and recovery strategies
• Working knowledge of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and legal recovery processes

Pay

$60,000 to $105,000 per year
