Role Overview
Join a dynamic team as a Special Agent responsible for investigations and protective duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide protection for designated protectees
- Conduct criminal investigations related to U.S. financial obligations
- Plan security measures for National Special Security Events
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Be able to carry and maintain firearm proficiency
- At least 21 but less than 37 years old (with exceptions)
- Possess uncorrected visual acuity of 20/100 or better binocular, and corrected to 20/20 in each eye
- Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in relevant ranges
- Pass drug tests
- Obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Complete extensive training at FLETC and the James J. Rowley Training Center
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and abroad
- Sign a mobility agreement
- Register with the Selective Service System if applicable
- Meet physical and background standards
- Be prepared for ongoing drug testing and training
