About the role

This position is responsible for providing learning disabilities support to students at Coquina Elementary School.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement educational plans.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate in special education.
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of learning disabilities and effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
