About the role

The BEACON - Brevard Employment Application Center ONLINE is seeking an individual to support learning disabilities in the Meadowlane Intermediate Elem school.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning disabilities in various academic areas.
• Implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide accommodations and modifications to ensure equal access to educational opportunities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of differentiated instruction methods.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and interventions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current best practices in special education.
• Proficiency in using assistive technology and software tools.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.

• $45.00 per hour

Schedule

• 10 month contract
• 8 hours per day
