Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all equipment.
- Ensures attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
- Prepares and measures food items in a timely manner, adhering to quality standards.
- Utilizes and sets up kitchen equipment to prepare food items.
- Packages all products to proper specifications.
- Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed.
- Maintains workstation and equipment cleanliness, organization, sanitization, and stock level.
- Adheres to waste control guidelines and records all waste on spoilage sheet.
- Maintains proper sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Complies with all company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience/Training/Education Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexible schedule and ability to respond quickly to internal and external issues.
- Knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problems, propose, and implement solutions.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handlers Card required.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs. throughout the day.
- Works at the computer and may require irregular hours.
- Regularly moves around the facility, stands for long hours during events, talks, and hears.
- May require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
