Spanish Teacher - Middle School/High School

Overview

Croswell-Lexington Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish teacher to join their faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture. This position requires strong classroom management, a student-centered approach, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish I, II, and possibly upper-level Spanish classes
• Design engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom learning environment
• Absess student progress and provide feedback
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development
• Show strong classroom management and communication skills
• Foster a love for language learning

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Spanish endorsement (FF)
• Be certified to teach Spanish
• Additional subject area endorsement preferred

About the Role
