About the role
Action Day Middle School, founded in 1984, empowers students in grades 5-8 to become independent thinkers, confident leaders, and lifelong learners. Our educators provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster intellectual curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and healthy risk-taking. Responsibilities
- Create dynamic, student-centered instruction that sparks curiosity and builds confidence in Spanish language and culture.
- Encourage students to communicate in Spanish, explore diverse cultures, and develop skills that extend beyond the classroom.
- Balance academic rigor with creativity and fun to build a strong foundation for future language studies and foster a lifelong appreciation for global perspectives and communication.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of teaching experience
- Fluency in Spanish and experience teaching Spanish language and culture in an educational setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Masters in Education or related field (preferred)
- Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
- A love and passion for working with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A reliable, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow!
