Job Description: The Role of the BCS Educator

The Bullis Charter School (BCS) is seeking a Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our dedicated team. Founded in 2004, BCS offers a collaborative, experiential learning environment that emphasizes individual student growth and a global perspective.

  • Teach Spanish language and culture to middle school students
  • Develop lesson plans and materials aligned with state standards
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Responsibilities

  • You have a BA/BS
  • You have a valid California Single Subject Spanish Teaching Credential (required)
  • You have a CLAD/EL Authorization (required)

Pay

$79,542 - $115,906, dependent on years of experience

Schedule

This position requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, lift and carry objects (up to 30 lbs.), and sit throughout the workday, as needed to perform all teaching tasks and other job-related responsibilities.

Employment offers are contingent on a valid work authorization, on verification per AB 2534 (including credential and work history review), First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, TB clearance completed within the last 60 days, and a cleared criminal background check.
