About the Role

Candidates selected to fill the role of Middle School Spanish Teacher at Central Middle School will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long-standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of Spanish instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. You will build positive relationships and work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Spanish instruction tailored to diverse learners.
  • Implement multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment through strong classroom management.
  • Build and sustain positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Utilize current technology to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.

Requirements

  • Valid MN License in Secondary Spanish.
  • Experience with differentiated instructional strategies that support diverse learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency with technology used in communication, academics, and progress monitoring.

Pay

Compensation range: $52,308–$123,452, depending on education and experience. See the Wayzata Education Association Contract for details.
