Spanish Adjunct Instructor (ADJT26)

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands‑on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson‑plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for courses taught.
• Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend instructional materials for course approval.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned courses.
• Supervision of students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Spanish, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish.

Schedule

Class schedules vary from semester to semester and may include daytime, evening, weekend, or online sessions. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) and may also teach dual‑enrollment courses at assigned high schools.
