Spacecraft Technician (Propulsion and Harness Integration – Satellites)
About the role
The Spacecraft Technician (Propulsion and Harness Integration – Satellites) plays a crucial role in the design, integration, and testing of spacecraft components. This position is responsible for ensuring that all propulsion systems and harnesses meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections and tests on spacecraft components to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate propulsion systems and harnesses into satellite buses.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to spacecraft assembly and integration processes.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities as necessary to resolve issues with spacecraft components.
- Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on project progress and potential challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and software for spacecraft engineering tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with low Earth orbit satellites and propulsion systems is preferred.

- Understanding of aerospace engineering principles and practices.

Pay
- Technician I: $29 to $33 per hour
- Technician II: $34 to $39 per hour
- Sr. Technician: $40 to $45 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time position with flexible work schedule.
