About The Role
Apex is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will lead a production team to meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of production employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth & improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing regular feedback and addressing performance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering) to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and waste, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and timely delivery of finished goods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a high-rate manufacturing/production environment
- 2+ years of experience leading a manufacturing/engineering team or leading collaborative/cross-functional projects
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality systems (e.g., ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
- Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay
Compensation Range: $108K - $148.5K
